The owner of the goods must be in the US at the time of the shipment arrival at the port entry. Important Note: Currently, US Customs has chosen to inspect as many shipments of personal effects as possible. In most cases, the shipment will undergoe an X-ray exam which could result in an additional physical inspection of the container. |

In General, ?No?. However, there will be additional charges if the shipment must undergoe X-Ray inspection or Physical inpection.
- How long does it normally take to make the shipment available for delivery once the vessel has arrived at the Port of Arrival.
This will vary greatly depending on port congestion or pending inspections, but a good rule of thumb is 2 weeks from the day the vessel has arrived we can normally schedule delivery.
